Venous ultrasound course: identifying varicose veins in the insufficiency study
Ultrasound learners find it tricky to tell varicose veins from the great saphenous vein (GSV) and the small saphenous vein (SSV). In this video, you'll learn how identify varicose veins with confidence and what to do if you find a blood clot in a varicose vein.
Venous ultrasound course: deciphering DVT waveforms
A pulsed wave (PW) Doppler study is an integral part of venous ultrasound. This video explains how to interpret the waveform graph to find out whether a vein contains a clot, where the clot is located and if the patient suffers from venous insufficiency.
