Soy intensivista y médico de emergencias retirado de la Universidad de California en San Diego (UCSD), donde fui director del Programa de Fellowship Multidisciplinario en Cuidados Críticos de Anestesiología. Me formé en medicina de emergencias en el Mount Sinai Hospital de Nueva York, luego trabajé como subdirector de residencia y director de la rotación para estudiantes de medicina en la Universidad de Oklahoma, antes de completar un Fellowship en Medicina de Cuidados Críticos en Anestesia en el Massachusetts General Hospital.
