Hafsa Abdirahman graduated with a Master’s of Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from George Mason University. She believes that access to evidence-based health information saves lives and has worked throughout her career to put this belief into practice. Hafsa teaches undergraduate courses in Epidemiology, Global Health, and Medical Terminology. She has over eight years of research experience covering a wide variety of topics including peer bullying and mental health, Type 2 diabetes, and health communication. She also frequently writes about epidemics and infectious diseases for various online health platforms.
