Desired Outcomes

  1. Analyze the configuration of the heart using the sequential segmental analysis.
  2. Obtain non-standard views to see more of the heart and great vessels than in conventional adult echo.
  3. Identify the most common lesions seen in adults.
  4. Look for the most common associated lesions.
  5. Calculate intracardiac pressures using defects.
  6. Assess surgical repairs.

Target Audience

This activity is geared to meet the educational requirements of Cardiologists (those not already doing congenital heart disease), cardiology trainees, and echocardiographers.

The presentational method for this activity is Lecture.

Instructions for participation

Each participant must watch all the video lessons, successfully pass all quizzes of this activity with a grade of 70% or higher and complete a post-evaluation form. Once completed, your certificate will be made available immediately for download. If you receive a score of 69% or less, you may retake the quiz until successful.
